RODNEY “KEVIN” GREEN
MIDLAND CITY… Rodney “Kevin” Green, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, passed away early Monday morning, June 2, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 9, 2025, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, Alabama with Reverend Mike Griggs officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Green was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late John Pugh Green and Bettye Powers Green. He lived in the Midland City area his entire life. He was a 1971 graduate of Dale County High School. He retired from Bell Frame & Brake in Dothan, Alabama. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He was a member of the Sylvan Grove Methodist Church.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Ryan Green; and his brothers, Stevie Green and David Green.
Leaving to cherish his memories is his high school sweetheart and wife of fifty-two years, Monti McNeal Green; his daughter, Ashley Green Martin; his son, Brandon Green (Melissa); his sister-in-law, Janice Hodges Green; his grandchildren, Lilly Green, Donovan Green, Hudson Green, Ali Martin, and Gavin Martin; and his several nieces and nephews.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his son and grandsons.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Gentiva Hospice and especially his nurse, Ellen Strack; and also, the nurses on the fourth floor of Flowers Hospital, for their support and loving care shown to Kevin through his illness.
