"Pop" was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather,

He enjoyed the casino and playing boo ray and other card games with his family and friends. "Pop" also enjoyed dancing and music and would often attend dances at all the old southern dance halls. He loved Southern Les Smiles dancing, attending Green Lantern, Green Wing, Fred's Lounge, and Dianne's Brass Rail were just a few of the old dance halls he frequented. "Pop" also celebrated many birthdays at Pop-A-Top's. He enjoyed family and friends and making memories with them while always cooking good meals. "Pop" was an avid sports fan and loved his LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He also loved his skoal. He will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish "Pop's" memory include his wife Shirleen Ann Duplechain Roy; one son, Ross Martin Roy, one daughter, Rebecca Ann Roy Wiltz; three brothers, Charles, Armand Jr., and Rickey Roy, one sister, Velma Roy Breaux; three grandchildren, Megan Chartier, Mathew and Morgan McClellan; two great grandchildren, Cleo and Elle-Mae McClellan; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
