All of Pamela's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin.

Pamela was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Johnnie A. LaFleur for 29 Years. He stated, "she was the most wonderful wife a man could ask for". Her inner and outer beauty was evident to everyone who met her. She was an immaculate housewife, bookkeeper, and loving wife to her husband and family.

Pamela lived in New Hampshire and worked for 19 years at a BASF plant in Bedford, MA. Where they made tape (Cassettes, floppy discs, etc.). After the closing of the plant, she moved back to Louisiana in 1992 and went to nursing school for a year, made excellent grades, however, after witnessing her first surgery decided it wasn't for her. Pamela was an avid reader; she always had a book nearby. She enjoyed cross stitching and made many beautiful pieces.

Pamela was a proud breast cancer survivor of 22 years. Sadly, she passed from a short violent lung cancer battle. Her strength through her battles was admirable. She was a kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Pamela's memory include her husband, Johnnie A. LaFleur; one brother, Scott Tolbert and wife Laura; four nieces, Virginia Jordon and husband James, Sydney Tolbert, Nikki Iverson and husband James, and Sonya Nelis and husband Andrew; one nephew, Dmitri Fedoruk and wife Trista; in-laws and special friends, Tony Menier and Cindy Schaffer; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Alice Tolbert; and one sister, Emily Tolbert Fedoruk.
