Rodney C. Stephens 76 of Paris Township passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born March 18, 1947 in Ravenna, Ohio to Cape and Irene (Gilreath) Stephens. Rodney was a US Army veteran, a member of the Deerfield American Legion and worked as a die mounter for Container Corporation (Westrock). Survivors include his wife of 57 years Jean (Roosa), children Patricia Stephens, Richard Stephens, Malinda Stephens and Eric Stephens, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and siblings Sandy Berisford, Debbie Stephens, Roger Stephens, Dale Stephens and Keith Stephens. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Daniel Lee Stephens. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Edinburg Town Hall, 6856 Tallmadge Road, Rootstown, OH. The family wishes to than Shawn Coffy for all his help and kindness and to Gentiva Hospice for all their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the charity of the donors choice.
