RODOLFO (RUDY) C. DELGADO
JAN 1, 1953–SEPT 2, 2023
Rudy Delgado, of San Marcos, Texas, passed away the evening
of September 2, 2023. He was 70 yrs. old. This occurred after
having suffered a long, dementing illness, while residing in San
Marcos Rehab & Healthcare Center.
Most of his past employment history, was with law enforcement
in Nueces County Sheriff's Office, and as a Taft Police Officer
in Texas. He attended Calvary Chapel of the Springs in San
Marcos, Texas, where he was a greeter. He never let his
physical limitations keep him from greeting people, as they
came into the church, from all walks of life. He enjoyed putting
smiles on people's faces!
He is survived by Linda L. Delgado (wife), Justine M. Delgado
(daughter), Angie Luera (sister), and 3 grandchildren - Michael
(17), Nathaniel (13), and Berlin (9). He was a loving husband,
father, and grandfather, who will be dearly missed.
His memorial service September 23rd at 2pm will be
held at Calvary Chapel of the Springs, located at 310 W.
Hutchison, San Marcos, Texas. Come help us celebrate his new
life in Heaven!
