Rofley Kauukai Hao

Rofley Kauukai Hao, 83, of Kalaoa, Hawaii, died, January 3, 2025, at Queen's Medical Center. Born in Kealakekua, Hawaii, on November 2, 1941, he was commercial fisherman. He also worked as a construction worker for Hualalai Ranch and J.M. Tanaka Construction. He is survived by his daughters, Momilani (Seneti) Kalavi and Sharon Manuel, all Kalaoa Kona, Brenda (Misinale) Kalavi of Makawao, Maui, Pearl (Ipo Kuakahi) Hao of Pahoa, Roxann (Darryl) Hao Bissen of Kalaoa, Kona; sisters, Annie Mandaquit of Kalaoa Kona, Jane Serion of Kona Palisades, Darlen Senoria of Pahoa; sister-in-law, Ethel Hao of Capt. Cook, Josephine Anakalea of Kailua Kona; aunt, Helen (Lawrence) Puou of Kamalumalu; hanai sons, Eddie (Rosalind Rodrigues) Hao, Jr., and Shannon (Shannon) Hao, all of Honaunau, Andrew (Michelle) Hao of Kealakehe, Clayton (Grace) Hao of Kaloko Mauka, James Hao of Kailua Kona; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. March 22, 2025, at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club House at Honokohau Harbor; celebration of life service will begin at 10 a.m. The family requests casual attire, flowers and lei are welcome.
