Rogelio Augusto Neblett

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rogelio Augusto Neblett, a proud Vietnam War Veteran, who departed this life on August 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Panama and later becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen, Rogelio lived a life defined by courage, service, and devotion to both country and family. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam and Gulf Wars and continued his commitment to national defense through service in the United States Air Force Reserves. His dedication to duty and country was unwavering, and his legacy as a serviceman is one of honor, resilience, and pride.

Beyond his military service, Rogelio was known for his laughter, vast wisdom, generous heart, immense dedication to family and steadfast support for those around him. He carried the values of integrity and compassion into every aspect of his life, leaving a lasting impact on his family, friends, and community.

Rogelio is survived by his beloved siblings, Adonis Neblett (Sylvia), Alitia Neblett (Andre), two aunts Josephine Rawlings and Ruby Williams, his uncle Bertrand Blain, many nieces and nephews, including Duane Ariel Marks, Antonio Neblett, Angela Neblett, Matthew Neblett, Tamra Neblett-Hemmila (Eli), Marcelo Neblett, Roger Francis, Xavier Francis, Angela Francis. Great nieces and nephews Dion Carrillo-Marks, Natalia Neblett, Dominic Neblett, Aubrey Neblett and Cyrus Neblett Gibson. He also has a host of truly close cousins who will forever cherish his memory. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with his wishes, Rogelio has been cremated, and it is the family's intention to have him interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. As a veteran who served this country with honor, he deserves and will receive, full military honors in recognition of his service and sacrifice.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to reputable veterans' organizations, e.g., the Fisher House Foundation, Semper Fi & America's Fund or Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), each dedicated to honoring and supporting those who have served.

We dedicate ourselves to live by his favorite phrase, "We are all one". Any tears shed for his passing are quickly relieved by the joyful memories left that never fail to make you smile. Let us remember Rogelio not only for his service, but for the life he lived, with honor, humility, and tremendous love.
