In Loving Memory of Agatha Neblett Life's Journey: March 1, 1925 – July 20, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved matriarch, Agatha Neblett, who left us peacefully in the early hours on July 20, 2025. Born in Georgetown, Guyana to Samuel and Julia Douglas, Agatha embodied a life of unwavering strength, compassion, and grace. Her journey was one of devotion-to her family, her values, and the enduring spirit of generosity that defined her.

Agatha is survived by her daughter Eileen Steele, son William (Eddie) Neblett, son-in-law Terrence Steele, and a legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren whose lives have been shaped by her love and guidance.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers (Donald, Cecil, Randolph, Clifford) husband, William (Pats) Neblett, daughter, Olive Neblett, and son, Frank Neblett. Though we grieve their absence, we take comfort in knowing that Agatha is reunited with them, continuing the story of love beyond this life.

Agatha was the kind of person who gave without hesitation-her time, her wisdom, and her heart. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of her generous spirit, please consider making a donation to Medical Mission of Hope to Zambia (http://www.mmhz.org, via Zelle to [email protected]), a cause she held dear. Please indicate "In memory of Agatha Neblett" on donations.

A memorial service will be held on August 8, 2025 at First Assembly of God, Alexandria, VA at 11:00 a.m. where we will celebrate her remarkable life and share the memories that will forever connect us to her.

Rest well, Agatha. Your love will echo through generations.
