Rogelio Rodriguez, a loving and caring spirit who graced this world with his presence, departed from us on April 6, 2025. Born on November 2, 1998, in California, Rogelio was a beacon of light to all who knew him. Throughout his short but impactful life, he wore many hats, most notably as a skilled mechanic. His hands brought life back into countless vehicles, but it was his heart that truly touched the lives of those around him.
Rogelio had a personality that was both funny and warm, a delightful blend that drew people closer to him. He was known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, which could brighten even the dullest of days. Beyond his talents as a mechanic, he found the greatest joy in helping others, taking immense pride in knowing that he could assist someone in need. Whether it was fixing a car or lending an empathetic ear, Rogelio demonstrated a deep care for humanity that will long be remembered by family and friends alike.
His journey in life may have been shorter than many hoped, but Rogelio’s legacy will continue in the hearts of those he touched. As we gather to honor his memory, we will reflect on the moments filled with joy and laughter that he effortlessly gifted to everyone around him.
Visitation will take place on May 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at East Olympic Funeral Home, located at 4556 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90022. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life during a Mass on May 17, 2025, starting at 8:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, at 3772 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90063. Following the Mass, a graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Rosemead at 10:00 AM, concluding at 11:00 AM, where we will lay him to rest.
As we say our goodbyes, we remember not only the laughter but the love he emanated to all. Rogelio Rodriguez may no longer walk among us, but his spirit will forever remain in the laughter we share and the kindness we extend to others.
