Roger Eric Baize, 58, of Radcliff, passed away Friday April 11, 2025 at U of L Hospital with his family by his side.Eric loved life, music, spending time with family and friends, and having a good time. Eric was in a wreck that left him disabled in his early twenties. In all the years he lived in pain not once did the thought of giving up ever enter his mind. No matter how grim the situation was, if there was a silver lining to be found Eric found it.Eric was born December 20, 1966 to Roger Dale Baize and Sherlene SanNicolas in Louisville KY.Eric is survived by his mother Sherlene SanNicolas, step father Ricardo SanNicolas. 3 sisters: Sherry (Jody) Baize, Donna (Jerry) Boggs, Melissa Kirby, 1 brother: Darryl Baize, 5 nieces: Shyla Wood, Victoria Kirby, Nefertiti Davis, Truth Kirby, Savana Goober, 5 nephews: Shelby (Leslie) Gosnell, Dustin Floyd, Jahia Davis, Jenny Branham, Sara Bloyd and several great nieces and nephews.Eric was preceeded in death by his grandparents: Shelby and Eva Hash, Estill and Gracie Baize, his father: Roger Dale Baize, and 3 nephews: Stephen Stribling, Nick Sutton, and Shane Sutton. Eric loved all his nieces and nephews but held a special place in his heart for Nick.Visitation will be held Friday the 18th from 11:00 to 8:00at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown KY, and a celebration of life at a later date.Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.manakeefuneralhome.com
