Roger Allen Bigelow, age 83, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2025 at Copeland Oaks, Sebring, Ohio. He was surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and cherished memories.
Roger honorably served his country in the United States Air Force before continuing his commitment to public service with the Ohio State Patrol. Later, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career with Goodyear Tire in Akron, Ohio, where he eventually retired.
Roger found joy in the simple things in life, especially spending time fishing with family and friends. His hands were always busy with projects, whether it was woodworking or diamond painting, hobbies that showcased his patience and creativity. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he was a dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Suzie Sanor Bigelow; his sons, Troy (Judi) Bigelow, Brian Bigelow and Bill (Nancy) Craig ; as well as beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his pet Frankie, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Roger's warmth, kindness, and love for his family will be dearly missed and forever remembered. A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio.
