Roger Crabtree Obituary
Roger Dean Crabtree age 61 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.
He was born September 5, 1963 in Oneida, Tennessee to the late Walter Crabtree and Wilda Roberts Crabtree. In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Crabtree and Paul Roberts.
Surviving family include his son, Roger Crabtree; daughters, Amy Garland (and Jeremy) and Tracy Crabtree; brothers, Danny Crabtree, Scott Crabtree, and Jackie Crabtree; sisters, Judy Crabtree Bell, Brenda Madden, and Frances Ann Crabtree; 9 grandchildren and a special friend, Becky.
Roger was of the Baptist Faith and had turned his life over to the Lord many years ago at the Round Top United Baptist Church. He was a logger and a machine operator in past time. He enjoyed being outdoors and four-wheeling. Roger will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service will be on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial to follow in the Crabtree Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 11:00 am until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the remaining funeral expenses.
Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
