Roger W. Crusan

Roger W. Crusan, 81, of Latrobe, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025. He was born June 1, 1943, a son of the late Guy W. Crusan and Mary Gronsky Crusan. Roger served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the Rolling Rock Brewing Company. After retirement he enjoyed bartending at Lloydsville Fire Hall and the Lloydsville Sportsman's Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Crusan and William Shawn Crusan; his brothers, Patrick, Kenneth, and Barry Crusan; and his sister, Faith Fillmore. Roger is survived by his wife, Jean (Magretti) Crusan of Bradenville; six children, Barbara Jo (Donnie) Padrick of Jacksonville, NC, Mya (Dean) Cape of Springfield, GA, Moni (James) Moody of Jacksonville, FL, Ian Crusan of Derry, Joshua Crusan of Derry, and George (Michelle) Curtis of Derry; two sisters, Geraldine Allen of Latrobe and Barbara Snyder of Hostetter; and a brother, Boyd Crusan of Latrobe. Roger is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly. He enjoyed fishing, bike riding, kayaking, and photography that he enjoyed doing with his son, Ian. Roger especially enjoyed his time with his cousin, Robert (Butch) Crusan. They would go fishing, have breakfast at Ruthies in Ligonier, and then go up the mountain to the Pie Shoppe in Ligonier to get their goodies. Roger will be greatly missed. Per Roger's wishes, there will be no viewing and services at this time.
