He was born on August 14, 1944 in Luverne, Minnesota the son of Cyril and Lorraine Deiterman. Roger was united in marriage and to this marriage four children were born, Laurie, Jason, Justin and Jesse. The family moved to Colorado in 1973.
Roger was a self-employed plumber and in the construction industry for many years. He built many beautiful homes. In 1992 he met the love of his life, Eileen Bykerk, and they married in 1993.
Roger was an incredible husband, father, neighbor and friend. He had a passion for Buick Rivieras and a hobby of traveling to car shows with his show car. He loved scuba diving, swimming, hunting and traveling. He traveled all over the world on dive trips.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister, Marcy. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, children Laurie (Tim) Olson, Jason, Justin, Jesse and grandchildren Travis, Kendra, Rylie, Madelyn, Jarrod, Amber, Autumn and Justin, great-grandchildren Ashlyn, Uriah, Galadriel and Gianna. Sisters: Marilyn Sullivan, Roberta Getman, Ramona Scheer and brother Morris.

Shocked to hear about Roger passing away. I met and got to become good griends with Roger through the ROA club. I could always depend with on Roger to help me out with my Rivieras when I needed help. I will greatly miss his friendship and knowledge.
