Roger L. Glick Sr.

Lima, Ohio Roger L. Glick, Sr., 68, passed away at 9:32 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Springview Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 18, 1957, in La Puente, California, to Joseph and Evelyn (Kundert) Glick, who both preceded him in death.
Roger worked alongside the Buehler family for more than thirty years. He was also self-employed and completed many home construction projects throughout his life. He took great pride in his work and especially enjoyed painting. Roger dearly loved his family and friends. In his younger years, he was a single father who devoted his life to providing for his children, who greatly admired his dedication and determination. He had a big heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and was known as quite the jokester. Roger also had a deep love for animals. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his significant other, Judy (Stoddard) Jarrell of Lima; his children, Roger (Brandi) Glick Jr. of Lima, Timothy "Tim" L. (Jennifer) Glick, Stephanie Glick, and Chad (Jessica) Glick; his stepdaughter, Emily Hardesty; siblings, Joseph "Joe" (Billie) Glick, Cindy Pendergast, Judy (Jeff) Schneider, Susan Regedanz, and Lori (Kevin) Young; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald "Don" Glick, Jim Glick, and Craig Glick; brothers-in-law, Mike Pendergast and Dennis Regedanz; his grandson, Craig Allen Glick; and his stepson, Philip O'Brien.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, with Pastor Mark Gordon officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Shawnee Chapel.
