Roger Golyar Obituary

Roger received his GED at the Vocation Education Center in Battle Creek, MI. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed visiting with his friends and spending time with family.
Roger is survived by his dedicated wife of 35 years, Katherine (Smith) Golyar; father, John Leo Golyar; brother, Ronnie (Theresa) Golyar of Bennington, Nebraska; step-daughters, Ranessa (Gene) Smith, Kanthreas (Jeremy) McBride; sons, Christopher Golyar, Tyler (Samantha) Golyar; grandchildren, Kamille, Brendan, Marissa, Bradenn, Branden, Maureen and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgina L. Golyar; sister, Marcia Anne Rench and niece, Terri Anne Smith.
A memorial service will be held at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
A memorial banquet will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 19757 Capital Avenue NE, Battle Creek, MI, 49017 at 5:00 pm following the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society - Michigan, PO Box 10069, Detroit, MI 48210 or Centrica Hospice Care, 7100 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
