Mr. Hamilton was born October 9, 1954 in Chattahoochee, Florida to Mr. Dallas Grover Hamilton and Mrs. Willie Frances Brogdon. He worked as a long haul truckdriver. He loved playing gospel music, watching Nascar, an avid hunter and FSU fan. He served in the 101st Airborne, 173 Brigade, Vietnam war and was awarded the National Marksman Award. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and a friend to many.
He is preceeded in death by his Mother, Frances Ford; Father, Grover Hamilton; Brothers, Dallas Hamilton and Raymond Hamilton.
He is survived by: Wife of 42 plus years, Patricia Wilkins Hamilton; Children, Jesse Hamilton (Brandy), Duane Hamilton (Nicole), Amanda Wood (Malcolm); Grandchildren, Bailey Hamilton, Hanna Hamilton, Holden Hamilton, Caleb Hamilton, Brooklyn Hamilton, Brayden Wood, Colby Barkwell; Sisters, Patsy Granberry, Janet Walden, Sheila Vaughn; Brothers, Sidney Hamilton, Kevin Hamilton, Bill McKenzie; many nieces, family and friends.
Mr. Hamilton's wishes were to be cremated. No further services are planned at this time.
