Roger P. "Pat" Ingram Jr.

Roger Patterson "Pat" Ingram Jr., age 77, passed peacefully on January 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Pat was born in Rowan County, NC, to Roger Patterson Ingram Sr. and Ilene Royal Ingram, both predeceased him in death.

Pat lived a life in faith and in service of others. He retired from Nationwide Insurance of Graham after 27 years, and he also worked at the Burlington Police Department for 21 years in the role of a patrol officer and later an investigator, retiring in 2007. Pat enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and surf fishing on the Outer Banks of NC.

Pat is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret Ingram; sons, Mark (Candace) and Scott (Chrissy); six grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Maddison, Davis, Elijah and Abigail; siblings, Deborah Wilkerson (Randy), Lynda Ingram, and Joey Ingram (Rita); brothers-in-law Dennis (Norene) Hoglin; Charles (Sandra) Hoglin; and Roger Hoglin; and many nieces and nephews, whom he loved.

The family will hold a visitation at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
