Roger D. Ivy, age 71 of White Pine, passed away at UT Medical Center on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 after a brief illness. He retired from City of Morristown Public Works after 35 years of service and was a member of Rugged Cross Baptist Church in New Market. Roger was an avid outdoorsman, motorcycle enthusiast, and a real family man.
Preceded in death by parents, Orville and Dorcas Ivy. He is survived by his children, Shawn Ivy, Michelle (Artie) Willis; grandchildren, Dylan (Kara) Willis, Lauren Ivy, Jarred Willis, Ashlyn (Tyler) Ramey, Hunter Ivy, Haeden Willis, Raegan (Jacob) Varney; great grandchildren, Aiden Roberts, Jackson Willis, Kenley Roberts, Colton and Ivy Ramey, Oakleigh and Bristol Willis; brothers, Joe (Gail) Ivy, Mike Ivy; several nieces, nephews, other family members and several close friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, 6:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, with Rev. Roy Ogle officiating, family will receive friends between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 in White Pine Cemetery at 11:00am
