Roger LeBas Obituary
Mr. LeBas, 76, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at The Carpenter House, Lafayette, LA.
Roger was a proud United States Marine and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He received his Masters Degree from Louisiana State University. He was a teacher for many years, and enjoyed woodworking, and was a blueberry farmer. He also was self-employed as a pest control specialist. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Inez Martin LeBas; and his parents, Ladis and Russia LeBas.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include three daughters, Rhonda LeBas Blood of Pine Prairie, Marsha LeBas Deshotel of Pine Prairie, and Dainna William Andrus, and husband "Nat" of Lone Pine; one son-in-law, Gregory Joseph Blood of Pine Prairie; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held in United Pentecostal Church, Turkey Creek, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers: Samuel Lamke, Logan Blood, Matthew Andrus, Nicholas Andrus, Michael Causey, and Logan Guillory.
