Roger McLester Obituary
Roger Alan McLester, 72, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Roger was born January 28, 1952 in North Carolina to the late Ira Aubrey McLester and the late Tina Wynoma Lee McLester.
Survivors include daughter, Holly Roxanne McLester Nelson of Archdale, NC; grandson, Ethan Nelson; sister, Susan Adele Morgan of Stanfield, NC; and brother, Joe Sherrill McLester (Carrie) of Stanfield, NC.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Roger was a Christian man and attended Indian Hill Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed music of all types and loved playing guitar. Roger also enjoyed watching football and was a big Panthers fan. He loved his daughter and grandson dearly.
