Roger Dywane Moulin
Roger Moulin, 86, of Harrah, Oklahoma left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on February 14, 2024.
Roger was born June 7, 1937, in Rossville, Oklahoma. His family moved to Long Beach, California in 1942 where his father worked as a welder in the shipyards during World War II. The family moved back to the Rossville area in February 1950. It was there that he started 7th grade at White Rock School and then went on to graduate in 1955 from Wellston High School where he excelled in basketball and baseball.
He married Sharon Kay Deonier on September 14, 1957. It was during this time that he began working at the OG&E plant in Harrah. In 1958, he began his career as a civilian at Tinker AFB retiring as a actuary specialist in 1990, with 32 years of service. After retirement he continued working on the farm and at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Kay of 66 years, his brother Andrew Moulin and wife Thelma of Midwest City Oklahoma, his son, Neil and wife Pam of Harrah and daughter Lisa and husband Terry Littlejohn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have four grandchildren, Brandy Dawson and husband Keyunta of Columbia, Tennessee, Kori Moulin of Harrah, Oklahoma, Amber Littlejohn of Lander, Wyoming, and Kasey Littlejohn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He also has one great grandson, Josiah Dawson. Preceding him in death are his parents Martin H. and Flora Moulin, a sister, Mona Smith, half-sisters Sue Schmidt, Opal Frost, and Grace Taylor, half brothers Herb Moulin and Charles Moulin.
He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, Oklahoma, and was instrumental in various building efforts to grow the church. In his later years he was always helping with the mowing and trimming of the church grounds. He loved to serve the Lord.
He loved the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting for quail and pheasant, going to Lake Tenkiller, traveling especially to the Rocky Mountains, the Red Rocks of Utah, and Alaska. Early retirement gave him the opportunity to follow his grandkids around to whatever activity they were participating in. He lived a blessed life.
A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Hillside Baptist Church in McLoud. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at Rossville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to support missions at Hillside Baptist Church, 333892 E 1040 RD, McLoud OK 74851.
Arrangements are under the care of Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah. Online condolences may be made at www.asasmith.net

Floyd and Karen Dimick.
We first met Roger when he came to South Dakota, to hunt pheasants
on our farm. He came with Bob Hamilton in 1972.
Over the many years he returned to hunt, bringing with him
his son Neil, brother-in-law, Larry Deonier and Chuck
Doolen.
Many special memories, especially the meals we shared with
him in the camper used as their "motel room".
Blessed be the memory of Roger Moulin, a long-time friend.

It was my honor to help take care of Roger. He kept a good attitude and was a pleasure to work with. I will miss him but know he is in a better place now.
