Roger Neal Odom

Roger Neal Odom, originally from Ft. Branch, Indiana, went to join his Heavenly Father on October 19, 2022 at 10:07 PM. He was 76 years old and born on September 18, 1946 to Paul and Lillian Odom. Roger was a loving husband, dedicated father and devout Catholic. He was married to Patricia Ann Odom for 53 years and had 3 children; Roger Odom II (Deepa), Curtis Odom (Wendy), and Christina (Odom) Stevens (Josh). He had 8 grandchildren that loved him very much; Reece, Riley, Cynthia, Ryan, Park, Joseph, Charissa and Eli.
Roger retired a Captain from the U.S. Air Force after serving 23 years and then went on to retire from the Civil Service after 20 years of service. He spent his free time volunteering at the Red Cross and was an active member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He enjoyed golf, the Florida Gators, football and shows at the Saenger Theater. Roger was a member of The Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his brother, Raymond Odom; his sister, Diana Blackgrave (Odom).
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Paul & Lillian Odom; brother's, Andy, Martin, Kenny, Ozzie, Jerry, and Mark; his sister, Bonnie Young (Odom).
The family will receive friends at St. Anne's Catholic Church located on Saufley Field Road in Pensacola, Florida on Friday, October 28, 2022, starting with the Rosary service at 9:30AM, visitation at 10:00AM, and mass at 11:00AM. Father John Licari will be officiating. The burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery following the mass.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Anne Catholic Church, 5200 Saufley Field Road, Pensacola, Florida in memory of Roger N. Odom.
