Mr. Roger Lee Osborne of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, having attained the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 4 days. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on Monday, April 7, 1952, the son of Odessa Osborne. He was a Separate Baptist and had formerly worked as a coal miner. He truly loved his wife, spending time with grandchildren, playing golf, playing guitar, fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odessa (& Elbert) Morgan, grandparents, Omie and Lee Osborne, in-laws, Wilmer and JoAnn Couch, brother-in-law, Wilmer Couch Jr., brothers, Jerry Gross and John Henry "June Bug" Gross Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Sue "Susie" (Couch) Osborne, whom he wed on Monday, August 14, 1978, daughters, April Osborne, Pamela (&Kevin) Brown, sister-in-law, Patty Couch, grandchildren, Katelyn Masiongale, Annie (& Conner) Osborne, Brandon Roger Lee Hall, Phillip Masiongale, Veronika Hall, and Brandy Hall, siblings, George Morgan, Ida Morgan, Randy Morgan, Donnie Morgan, and Tommy Morgan, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Davis officiating, and special music by Aarons Chapel Church and Bandy Hall. Burial was in Aaron's Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Pam Brown, James Creselious, Brandon Roger Lee Hall, Mike Dorn, Phillip Masiongale, Randy Morgan, Jason Masiongale, Wayne Shelton.
Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
