Roger Phillips age 78, departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1947 to the late Oscar and Winnie Elizabeth Phillips. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife: Wilma Phillips; Brother: Robert Phillips and wife Kathleen Phillips.
He was survived by his four sons: Gary Phillips, Larry Phillips, and girlfriend Patty Wright, Terry Phillips and wife Traci, and Mikey Phillips and wife Michelle; two daughters: Betty Phillips, Fayetta Phillips and boyfriend Bob Dunville, and Special Daughter: Pam Hill; Grandchildren: Trish Phillips and wife Kaylee, Olivia Phillips, Hannah Phillips, Amanda Gregg, Chelsey Gregg, Jordan Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Tristen Jones, Larry Phillips Jr., and Tommy Phillips; Four Great-Grandchildren: Laker Sexton, Aisley Sexton, Wade Seybert, and Elaine Seybert; Two Brothers: Ed Phillips and wife Jean, and Delbert Phillips; Nephew: Christopher Phillips and wife Emily; many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Jeff Lowe officiating. Music to be provided by Concord Baptist Community Chapel. Burial to follow in the Phillips Cemetery of the Cherry Fork Community.
Pallbearers will be Trish Phillips, Ed Phillips, Bob Dunville, Christopher Phillips, Jeff Simms, and Kevin Hughett.
