Roger Allen Reeves, 89, formerly of Claymont, Delaware, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Morningside House of Exton, PA. He was the husband of the late Carmeline Bazarte Reeves, who departed this life in 2013.

Roger was a loving father who lived life to the fullest. When not working as a skilled electrician and mechanic, Roger loved to travel and spend time with his large circle of family and friends.

Born in Barnegat, NJ on February 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Augustus and Helen (Olnowich) Reeves. Roger graduated from Barnegat High School and went on to join the United States Navy in 1954. He was a proud Navy Submariner stationed on the USS Dogfish until 1959. Roger had a passion for boating and enjoyed life the most when he was on the water. His favorite places to boat with his family included the Barnegat, Chesapeake, and Rehoboth Bays. Notably, Roger was a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Submarine Veterans Base.

Surviving are his children Valerie Walters (Raymond) of Newark, DE, Michael Reeves (Karen McKee) of Wilmington, DE, Wayne Reeves (Miranda Buck) of San Clemente, CA, Rodney Reeves (Stephanie) of Downingtown, PA, and Brenda Martindale (Robert) of Stevensville, MI; grandchildren Stephanie, Morgan, Austin, Rebecca, Emily, Harrison, Stephen, Hannah, Michael, Camryn, Mitchell and Matthew; and great-grandchildren Josie and Kate. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Hull.

Services will be private.
