Roger Strange Obituary

Roger was a member of Gourd Spring Baptist Church and was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years working as a meat cutter with Food Lion. In his free time, Roger enjoyed playing games online and connecting with friends through his shared interests.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mark Allen Strange and Robin Shelton.
Roger is survived by his siblings: Teresa Strange of Spring Lake, NC; Charles Strange, Jr. (Donna) of North Liberty, IA; Wendy Jernigan (Mark) of Spring Lake, NC; Roy Strange of Spring Lake, NC; and Pam Morin (Steve) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Kathy Strange of Cameron, NC, and brother-in-law, Scott Shelton. Roger leaves behind one niece, three nephews, one great-niece, and one great-nephew who will cherish his memory always.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Spring Lake.
