Roger R. Talbot, 84, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born in
Worcester, Massachusetts on February 20, 1942, the son of the late Roger R. Talbot and Katherine (Kane) Talbot.
He graduated from Classical High School in Worcester, Class of 1960, and later attended Worcester Junior College and Clark University. Roger proudly served in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. He worked for many years as manager of the Organic Division of Bay State Abrasives in Westborough and was previously employed by General Motors in Framingham.
Born in Worcester, Roger was a long-time resident of Douglas where he lived for 56 years and raised his family. Roger enjoyed golfing and was a former member of Westborough Country Club. He loved watching sports, especially college basketball and football, and always enjoyed lunches with his cousins, moments he truly looked forward to. But above all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Roger was deeply devoted to his wife, Saundra V. Talbot (King). Together they shared 60 years of marriage, celebrating their milestone anniversary this past November, a testament to their lifelong love and commitment.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by their children Michelle Ebbeling and her husband Edward of Northbridge; Michael Talbot and his wife Joanna of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Christine Mitchell of Webster; and Kim Biddle and her husband Tim of Kill Devil Hills, NC. He is survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with two great-grandchildren expected in the coming months, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Paris Jordan whose husband, Michael Jordan, survives her. He was also predeceased by his sisters Kathleen Nadeau of Worcester and Dorothy Keeler of Westborough. Roger will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his quiet strength, and the many years of love and guidance he shared with those closest to him.
Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the BUMA Funeral Home, 480 Church Street, Whitinsville and Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am
Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton.
