Roger Vandenack

Roger E. Vandenack passed away on December 12, 2025. He was born on May 11, 1935 to Lawrence (Mable Eckert) Vandenack in Oconto, WI. Roger graduated from East High School class of 1954. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Vandenplas on July 18, 1959 at St Francis Xavier Cathedral and she preceded him in death on February 16, 1997.He served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of American Legion Post 11. He retired from the CP Railroad where he was a signal maintainer in 1995 after 42 years of service. He married Helen Belongia on December 16, 2005 and she preceded him death June 24, 2024. Roger lived at Allouez Senior Care and enjoyed making many friends there.

He is survived by his daughter in law Kathy Skelly of Port Angeles, WA.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Betty and Helen; parents, Lawrence and Mable Vandenack; sister, Marjorie; two infant sons, Curtis Allen and Scott Lawrence.

Burial will be in Oconto Catholic Cemetery in Oconto, WI.
