Roger Watson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Life Tributes Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Feb. 25, 2026.
Roger T. Watson, Jr., age 58, of Spencer, passed away Friday evening, February 20, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family and under the care of Moments Hospice.

In keeping with Roger's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.

Roger was born on April 28, 1967, in Marshfield. As the son of Dave and Judy (Nowak) Weber, he grew up in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School. After high school, Roger attended Wyoming Technical College, where he earned his customization of auto body certification. He later became a certified/ licensed welder. He took pride in his work and built a strong career as a licensed welder, working for Custom Fabricating & Repair in Marshfield, A & B Process Systems in Stratford, and most recently Phoenix Stainless in Stratford. Roger believed in showing up, working hard, and doing the job right-values he carried throughout his life.

Outside of work, Roger enjoyed the simple things. He loved riding his motorcycle, "Lady," spending time with friends at My Brothers Place, and shooting pool. He had a playful sense of humor and especially enjoyed teasing the younger generation, keeping his nieces and nephew on their toes. On Sundays, you could often find him cheering-and sometimes yelling-at the Packers when they didn't play the way he thought they should.

Roger will be remembered as a loyal son, a caring brother, a proud uncle, and a dependable friend. He is survived by his mother, Judy Weber of Spencer; his siblings, Amy (Duane) of Spencer, Lanccia (Josh) of Madison, and David (Tracy) of Spencer; and his nieces and nephew, Lancey (Harley), Chailey, Makayla, Gavid, Alexa, Danica, Shelby, and Amberly. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Dave Weber, and by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Roger's arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer. His family invites relatives and friends to share memories and condolences at www.lifetributesfuneralhome.com.
