Mr. Roger Lewis Way, aged 64, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was born on November 9, 1960, in Wilson Oklahoma, to the late Mr. Robert E. Way and Mrs. Patricia Ruth (Grover) Guthrie.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel, with Ricky Way officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Cemetery in Marshall County. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Roger was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1979. He married Wendy LeAnn Nabors at the Rexroat Baptist Church in Wilson on May 18, 1996. Together, they shared a loving family, welcoming two sons, Jacob Chance Way and Jackson Cade Way.

Throughout his career, Roger worked in various fields, including the oil industry and law enforcement with the Wilson and Lone Grove Police Departments. He later served as a security guard for the Noble Foundation and East Jordan Iron Works. Roger had an enthusiastic spirit, participating in a dart league where he earned numerous trophies, and enjoyed playing golf. In his leisure time, he cherished playing games on his phone, listening to music, and spending time with his beloved dog, Roscoe.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Marsha Dyer.

Roger is survived by his wife, Wendy; his sons, Jacob and Jackson; his brothers, Bobby Way and his wife Shelley, and Gary Guthrie and his wife Jamie; as well as his nephews, Buddy Way and his wife Mikke, Colton Dyer and his wife Kylie, and Clayton Dyer; his nieces, Emmy Dauphin and her husband Bryce, Macey Dyer and Haley Sanders; along with his brothers-in-law, Danny Dyer and Randy Dyer and his wife Becky; sister-in-law, Tammy Dyer; canine buddy, Roscoe; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Way, Jackson Way, Randy Dyer, Colton Dyer, Buddy Way, and Rick Mayo. Honorary bearers will be members of the Wilson High School class of 1979.
