Roger Lee Wilson, age 71 of the Oak Grove community, passed away on July 10, 2025 at his residence. He was born on June 12, 1953  to the late Mike Wilson and Verdie Duncan Wilson. Roger was of the Baptist faith and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He loved to draw, play pool, mowing and picking up can, flowers, gardens, and anything nature. Roger is preceded in death by his parents Mike and Verdie Duncan Wilson, brothers Clarence Wilson, Paul Wilson, Donnie Lynn Wilson, Harold Dean Wilson, sister Julia Wilson Phillips and Rev. B. Ray Phillips, sister-in-law Betty Wilson, and brother in law Dean Redden. He is survived by:

Visitation: 4:00PM - 7:00PM, Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 7:00PM, Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City with Rev. Mitch Wilson, Rev. Gerald Clabo, Brother Jimmy Ault.

Interment: Family and friends will meet at 10:15AM, on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel to go in procession to Oak Grove Cemetery for an 11:00AM graveside service.
