Roger Lee Yoxsimer, 56, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born on March 14, 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Ronald Eugene and Naomi Ruth (Dean) Yoxsimer. He went to his eternal home on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Hospice House in Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma.
Roger was a 1984 graduate of Bishop Mcguinness High School. He loved watching the OU Sooners and Oakland Raiders. In Roger's spare time he enjoyed going to the beach, cooking with his family, fishing and going on drives. He liked listening to music, attending concerts, reading Steven King novels, walking and working out. Roger's happy place was with his kids at Disney World. He was known for his great sense of humor, warm smile and entertaining family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Elk City, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Red Star Cemetery, Leedey, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his father, Ronald Eugene Yoxsimer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one son, Eric Yoxsimer of San Mateo, California; two daughters, Virginia Yoxsimer of San Mateo, California, Liddy Yoxsimer of San Mateo, California; two brothers, Greg Yoxsimer and his wife, Emily of Midland, Texas, Steve Yoxsimer of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Cindy Hofacer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Margo Maberry and her husband, David of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Ruth (Dean) Yoxsimer.
Memorials can be made to the Red Star Cemetery Association in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
