Mr. Rolandro Earl Jones Sr.

Mr. Rolandro Earl Jones, Sr. 41, of Peoria, IL passed away at 11:01 am on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Rolandro was born on February 8, 1981 in Peoria, Illinois to Earl and Beverly (Taylor) Jones. He married the love of his life, Autumn Newby-Dixson on May 31, 2016 until her passing on June 4, 2018.
Rolandro worked at Lutheran Hillside Village as a dietary aide. He was a 1999 Peoria Woodruff High School graduate where he was a member of the football team.
Rolandro loved wrestling. He was a joyful, lovable person as well as a great son, friend, cousin and brother.
Rolandro leaves to cherish his most precious memory his mother, Beverly Jones of Indianapolis, IN; his father, Earl (Rosyln) Jones of Peoria, IL; one brother, Marcus Dunnigan of Kennewick, WA; two sisters, Shamika Jones of Peoria, IL and Earllissa Jones of Indianapolis, IN; maternal grandmother, Bessie Williams two nieces, Ahdiyah Jones and Justyce Williams; one nephew, Royal McCartney; close friend/brother, Marvin Johnson; special friend/sister-in-law, Faith Newby and a host of relatives and friends. He is also preceded in death by his wife and infant twins, Winter Cierra Jones and Rolandro Earl Jones, Jr. and his paternal grandparents, Alex "Shug" and Lucy Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Simons Mortuary with a gathering beginning at 11:30 am. District Elder Quinton Brown, Pastor of New Beginnings Worship Center, will officiate.
