Rolland Newcomb Obituary

Rolland graduated from Lakeview High School, where he was a violinist and played in the orchestra. He was deeply passionate about weather forecasting, speed-boating and water skiing, volunteered at Public Access TV station, and took pride in mowing the lawns for his elderly neighbors. He was a proud Michigander who enjoyed statewide travel, spending time at the lake house with family, playing board games, and cartoons. Rolland worked for many years as a technician at a local automotive refinishing supply company until his retirement.
Rolland is survived by his children, Krystle (David) Newcomb, Kristopher Newcomb; grandchildren, Dominik, Erek; brothers, Rick and Roderick Newcomb; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Betty Newcomb.
At this time, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
