GARDNER - It is with the deepest affection that we remember Romeo A. Boudreau, a man of wit, dedication, and boundless love for life. Born on May 21, 1929, in Gardner, Massachusetts, Romeo's journey through life was filled with laughter, achievement, and a steadfast commitment to his community.
Romeo's passion for life is evident in his career, hobbies, and community service. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked at the Gardner News, Hefferman Press in Worcester, Conant & Ball in Gardner, and owned and operated Central Variety in Gardner for 18 years. Even after retirement, Romeo's dedication didn't wane as he continued to work part-time at Beauregard's Package Store. A former member of Sacred Heart Church, Gardner VFW Post 905, and Lions Club, Romeo's life was a testament to his commitment to service and community.
When not working or contributing to his community, Romeo enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. He cherished spending time at Flags Trailer Park in York, Maine. Romeo's life was a beautiful journey marked by an indomitable spirit and an unwavering dedication to those he loved.
He will be profoundly missed by his daughter, Lynne Hussien and her husband John; son, Steven Boudreau; grandchildren, Nicholas Hussien and Joshua Hussien, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
