Ron Corry, 84, of Robinson, IL, died on August 30, 2025, at his home. He was the son of William and Maxine (Bosley) Corry, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Terrill; infant brother, Jimmy; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Corry.
He was a hard worker and retired from Pipefitters Local 553. Ron enjoyed pipeline welding, playing the guitar, reading, hunting mushrooms, watching NASCAR and the Cubs, and spending time with his family. He was a past stock car champion at Macon Speedway. He liked music—especially blues and classic country—and had a love for his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Sara; sons, Bill (Diana) Corry and Steve (Mary) Corry; daughter, Lisa Ann Corry; granddaughters, Kylie, Lacey, Rachel, and Emma; grandson, Logan; great-granddaughters, Tristyn and Laney; great-grandson, Quinn; brother, Grady (Joanie) Corry; step-son, Adam Osborn; brothers-in-law, Don (MaryAnn) Bell and Robert (Christel) Bell; as well as many other family members and friends.
Ron was much loved and will be greatly missed.
It was Ron's wish to be cremated, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Crawford County Humane Society", "Paws for Prevention" in Robinson, IL, or to the charity of the donor's choice. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, IL, is assisting the family with arrangements.
