Ronald Dean "Ron" Dahlsten, 87, passed away on March 05, 2026 at his home in Lindsborg, KS. Ron was born on October 21, 1938 in McPherson, KS to the late Clifford and Ruby (Swenson) Dahlsten.
On June 8, 1961 Ron married Sue Habiger in Bushton, KS. Ron was a career educator and coach. His many accolades include his induction to the Kansas Coaches Hall of Fame.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Esther Jaderborg and Anita Thackery; and brother: David Dahlsten.
Survivors include his wife: Sue Dahlsten of the home; son: Mark Dahlsten (Cherilyn) of Hesston, KS; daughters: Beth Ruf Lenexa, KS and Sara Krehbiel (Kurt); grandchildren: Drew Dahlsten (Courtney), Dean Dahlsten (Cassy), Grant Dahlsten, Micah Dahlsten, Brandon Krehbiel (Jenna), and Matthew Krehbiel; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Crick-Christian Funeral Home, 103 North Washington St., Lindsborg, KS 67456.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, 11 a.m. at the Lindsborg Evangelical Covenant Church in Lindsborg, KS, with Pastor Jeff Waugh officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Lindsborg Community Hospital or to the Evangelical Covenant Church. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 North Washington St. Lindsborg, KS 67456.
