Ron Pfeiffer Obituary

He was born December 3, 1942 in Peoria to the late Emil and Gertrude (Snyder) Pfeiffer. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert.
He married Roseanne and she preceded him in death. He later married Betsy Fiers in Peoria on February 14, 2003. She survives.
Also surviving are five children, Lori (Tom Cormick) Pfeiffer, Audrey (Will Vogelsang) Pfeiffer, Kevin Pfeiffer, Scott Wight, Corie (Mike) Baker; two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Ron was a US Army Veteran, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. After his service to his country he worked as a machinist at Keystone Steel and Wire in Bartonville retiring after 37 years. Ron enjoyed astronomy, horticulture, and antiquing with Betsy. He will be dearly missed.
Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Midwest Affiliate.
