Ron Pritchard

Mr. Ronald "Ron" Edward Pritchard, age 88, of Muscadine, AL, passed away July 26, 2025. He was born December 23, 1936 in Griffin, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Allison Pritchard; wife, Edith Oumar Pritchard; daughters, Sharon Godwin and Lori Crankshaw; son, Ronnie Pritchard; and his six brother and sisters.

Ron graduated high school and left to serve in the United States Army in Germany after the war ended. He met his beloved wife, Edith in Germany and they returned to his home to build a beautiful life together. Ron was an avid animal lover and in his retirement began taking care of all those he could find. No critter went hungry and all had their own special name.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Guthrie, of Temple, GA; son and daughter in law, Bill and Peggy Pritchard, of Panama City, FL; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 1:00PM at Muscadine Memory Gardens with Rev. Steve Crocker officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Godwin, Jason Godwin, John Warren, Gus Vaughn, Bryan Denney, and Bill Pritchard. Interment will follow the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00AM to 12:30PM.
