I have many great memories of the visits growing up that my family made to Boone to see uncle Duff, aunt Faye and the family. I've lost contact with the cousins over the years and would like to connect with Bonnie again. My condolences to Ron's family.

Back in the early 70's Kathleen was babysitter for our two daughters, Missy and Shelly; so we got acquainted and saw Ron often at the end of the day. He always had a smile. Our condolences to Lora, Steve and the rest of the family. Dean and Janice Gordon

Ron and I were classmates and Bonnie and I were good friends in elementary school through high school. Ron was a fun loving guy and I am sure he will be missed by all those that knew him well. R.I.P. Ron. Prayers to the family in this time of sorrow.

I met Ron through love of animals. One summer he rented out goats to clear the pasture east of me. I love goats, and have pygmy goats, so when I saw that there where a large herd adjoining my property, I was elated . I watered them through the hot summer, and gave them treats. When they were transported back to Ron's, I was so saddened. I missed seeing them every morning. They had won my heart, and I named them all. Ron was a very nice friend and I loved seeing all the different animals he had on his place. He tried to sell me miniature mule once, but Ken wouldn't let me have him. Ron tried to talk him into it, but without luck!
Our sympathies and condolences to Ron's family. May God bless and comfort you at this time of your loss. He will be missed! You're in our thoughts and prayers.

So sad. Ron has been in my life almost as far back as I can remember. He'd scold me for riding my horses to the fun shows in Pilot Mound as a kid instead of calling him to haul them. Over the years we did a lot of trail riding & horse swapping. He'd always watch the sales for an Arabian that he could resell to me for a "deal" or a new saddle for one of my girls. We always had to stop by to chat and see what new critters he had at his place. As his health failed him we would often catch up outside his apartment building or at Hy'Vee. Now, he will be greatly missed by us, but I bet he's already back in the saddle or dancing across some dance floor with the ladies. Goodbye my friend.

So sorry. I live in the apartment building Ron lived in. We didn't visit much but would talk when I would see him in the lobby or coming in the door. Take care.
