Ronald "Archie" Archambault Obituary
Ronald A. "Archie" Archambault, 71, of Forestdale, died June 1, 2024 in his home. He was surrounded by family, friends, music and passed with his drum sticks in hand. He was the husband of Theresa (Mercure) Archambault of Forestdale. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Alfred and Doris (Brillon) Archambault.
Archie worked as a machine operator for AT Cross. He was an avid drummer, playing with many bands in the local music scene, with his drum set, Melissa. He loved life and nature. He enjoyed traveling locally especially to the mountains for nature walks and hikes, playing cards, watching the Celtics and Patriots. Any time spent with his family and friends, was considered "precious moments" to him.
Along with his wife, Theresa, he is survived by his daughter, Stacy Choiniere and her husband Lucien, of Lincoln; his step-son, Jarrod Robinson and his wife Marcia of Forestdale; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Camden, Logan, Aidan, Aria, Zachary, Owen and Carlos. He was predeceased by his son Ryan Archambault, and his step-daughter Jodi Garza.
His funeral will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024, beginning with visitation at 9AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, followed by a service at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Old River Rd., Manville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 1085 N. Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
