Ronald Bohlayer Obituary
Prattsburgh - Ronald E. Bohlayer Sr., age 66, of Prattsburgh, NY died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. He was born July 8, 1955 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Richard V. and Rosemary (Oberist) Bohlayer. Ron retired from the New York State DOT as a Bridge Supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He also enjoyed classic cars. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who lived life to the fullest, and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah (Benedict) Bohlayer; children, Ronald E. Bohlayer Jr., Timothy Bohlayer and Heather Bohlayer; grandchildren, Leyna, Mina and David, step-father Carl Mattison and his brothers, Richard Bohlayer and Carl Mattison Jr.
