Ronald L. "Ron" Branstetter, age 92 of Cambridge passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at his home. He was born on December 3, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN, a son of the late Jack E. Branstetter and Evelyn T. (Sandvold) Branstetter.
Mr. Branstetter was born in Minnesota. Shortly after birth, they moved to California where he lived for most of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. Ron worked as an electrician for many companies. After moving to Ohio in 1988 he worked for Craft Electric. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Ron leaves: his wife of 29 years, Phyllis May (Norris) Branstetter, they were married on July 20, 1996; two step daughters, Debbie Prince of Cape Coral, Florida and Angelia (& Doug) Piechowiak of Old Washington; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, a sister Mary Ferguson and a step daughter Jeanette Clark.
Ron's after death wishes were for his body to be donated to OSU for medical research. A memorial service may be held at a later date. Ron's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com.
