Ronald C. Bumpus, 56, of Nutley, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Ronald was the son of the late Brad and Marlena (LaSalle) Bumpus. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Lisa, his children Melanie and Jack, Daisy the dog, his brother Raymond, his sister Lori, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Julie. Ron was a retired police officer for the North Bergen Police Department. He also worked as an IT Manager for Kiewit Co. for over 20 years. Ron loved his family and friends beyond measure. To know him was to love him. He was always kind and would do anything for anyone. He was an avid gun collector and loved his Ford Raptors. He was always the life of the party. There aren't enough words to describe his character and how much he is loved and will be missed.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.

RON AND I WORKED TOGETHER AS POLICE OFFICERS ONE THING US MEN IN BLUE WANTED WAS TO GO HOME SAFE TO OUR LOVED ONES NO WORRIES RON HAD OUR BACK. THANKS BROTHER TILL WE MEET AGAIN.
