Ronald Carter entered eternal rest at Passages Hospice on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 66. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Ronald was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System and was a former landscaper. “Ronnie”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, appreciated life from boiling to barbequing, drinking to dancing, he was the life of the party. Beloved son of the late Curtis and Rita Carter. Grandson of the late Ernest and Agnes Carter, Alexander and Lorenza Melancon. Brother of Curtis Carter, Jr., Barbara Carter, Stephanie Adams, Catherine Clark, Patricia Adams, and the late Steve and Michael Carter. Uncle of the late Royal “Choo Choo” Clark, Jr., and Peter Carter. Great uncle of the late Tirrell Williams, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center, and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School Board, and Jefferson Parish Drainage Department are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Father Sidney Speaks, celebrant.
