Ronald Celesnik Obituary
He was born on March 29, 1936, in Waukegan and was a lifetime area resident.
Ronald attended Mother of God Church in Waukegan until its closing and then attended St. Mary of the Annunciation in Mundelein.
He coached football at Mother of God school for many years and was an avid golfer.
Ronald was a Waukegan Policeman then worked for Johnson Outboards in Waukegan for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Chambers Celesnik; son, David Celesnik; daughters, Mary (Brian) Hunter, Jennifer (Joe) Sanchez; grandchildren, Amanda (Alex) Gonzalez, Nicholas (Michelle) Sanchez, Andrew Hunter, Alec Hunter; great grandchildren, Fiona Gonzalez and Jocelynn Krause Gonzalez.
Funeral mass will be 11:00 AM, Monday, August 19, 2024, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church 22333 W. Erhart Rd., Mundelein. Interment will be private at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to time of service at the Church.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name can be made to the Kidney Foundation.

Always enjoyed playing golf with Ron on Sunday mornings at Orchard Hills. He was a lot of fun. Prayers are with his family.
