Ronald E. Clem, 90, of Evansville, passed away at his home on Monday, July 21, 2025. Ron was born on September 25, 1934, in Evansville to the late Harold G. and Irene B.B. (Griess) Clem. Ron worked as the service manager at Mechanics Laundry in Evansville for 23 years and later as the General Manager of Hudson Equipment and Supply in Manassas, Virginia and Waldorf, Maryland before retiring in Evansville. He served his country in the United States Navy, serving in Korea and Japan during the Korean War. Ron had a great sense of humor, was very witty and enjoyed eating Maryland blue crabs. He was an avid bowler, and enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, grilling and playing table games. More than anything, Ron loved spending time with family and friends. Surviving Ron are his children, Ronald E. Clem, II, Cyndie (Paul) Rokich, and Ginny (Mike) Stevens; his partner, Mary Schoettlin; stepchildren, Derek (Becky) Faughn, Scott Faughn, and Kevin (Janice) Faughn, half siblings, Gyneth Ruark, Delores (Dennis) Sylte, and Joseph (Darlene) Clem; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Mayer) Clem. There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at the Riverbend Association, 2207 W. Franklin Street, Evansville, IN 47712. Private burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be made online at www.pierrefuneralhome.com.
