Ronald Coffey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory (26th St. Chapel) - Bradenton on Jan. 13, 2026.
Close relatives are his son Sean and wife Crystal Coffey, sisters Mary Pardo with son Wesley Elofson and wife Kim, Joy Richardson and husband Jim, and daughter Ann Bliss. Nieces and nephews along with grand-children and great grand-children are included.
Ron's early years were characterized by a sense of duty and service. In October 1958, at the tender age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country with honor and distinction until February 1962. His commitment to his nation did not end with his active duty, as he continued to serve in the Army Reserves for an additional two years. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the military remained integral parts of his character throughout his life.
After his service, Ron embarked on a career that would allow him to indulge in his love for travel, sales, and the art of auctioneering. He had a natural talent for engaging with people, a skill that served him well in his professional endeavors. His charismatic presence at auctions became well-known, and his ability to captivate an audience was nothing short of remarkable. Ron's love for the open road and exploring new places never waned, and he often shared stories of the sights he'd seen and the people he'd met.
Ron's interests were diverse and reflected his dynamic personality. He possessed an innate curiosity that drove him to seek out new experiences and knowledge. Whether it was a local flea market, a cross-country road trip, or an international journey, Ron embraced each with enthusiasm and a spirit of discovery.
As we remember Ron, we are reminded of his infectious laughter, his warm smile, and the way he could light up a room with his presence. He was a friend to many, a mentor to some, and a storyteller who could hold his audience captivated. His legacy is one of joy, adventure, and a life well-lived.
Ronald Lee Coffey's journey through this life has come to an end, but the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the laughter he sparked will continue to resonate with all who knew him. As we bid farewell to Ron, we celebrate a life that exemplified the beauty of embracing the world with open arms and a heart full of love. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain a guiding light to those who were fortunate enough to know him.
