Ronald Cook, age 77, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Ronnie Cook was born on November 6, 1948.
On the same date 77 years later God took him home to be with him in Heaven.
During his time on earth, Ronnie truly had a servants heart. He was always helping someone or taking care of everyone around him. He and his wife Brenda opened and operated Gods Hands Food Ministry for over 15 years dedicating their time to so many families in our community. They were also loving foster parents to many children over the years. One of his favorite things was spending time with his grandchildren and Papaw was a name he cherished.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents - James and Sofina Cook as well as his siblings - Jimmy Cook, Donald Cook, Elizabeth Ward, JoHelen Landers, Ruth Stanley, Georgia Rollins, and Thelma Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Cook, His children - Tabitha Rolen, Everette Cook, Ronald Lee (Tina) Cook, John Dale Cook, Shane Cook, Rodney Cook, Robbie Cook, Ricky (Marcia) Dabbs, and James Allen Ragon, Shantia (Mark) Lewis, Sarah (Ethan) Carver, Isaiah Mitchell, his stepchildren whom he loved as his own - Chrystal (Hector) Artica and Rebecca (BennyRay) Mitchell, His grandchildren - Jason (Brittany) Artica, Maria (Josh) Webber, Isaiah Mitchell, Justin Cook, Dustin (Patricia) Cook, Hailey Cook, Joshua Cook, Jericho Presley, Jordan Cook, John Cook, Ashley Cook, Nicky Dabbs, Vance Ragon, McKinley Newton and Matthew Ragon, His great grandchildren - Willow Lewis, Oliver Lewis, Maverick Carver, Ava Bailey, Jace Bailey, Gabriel Bailey, Alexis Webber, Jade Artica, Tysen Lackey, Delilah Cook, Abram Cook, Aubrie Cook, Harrison Cook, and Abigail Cook; brothers, Johnny (Gail) Cook, Leonard (Mary) Cook, and David (Judith) Cook.
The viewing will be at Manes Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8 from 12-2 pm with the funeral following at 2 pm. Reverend Bryan Dotson and Rex Norton will be officiating.
